Frequently asked questions
The scores
How to order a score in digital version?
The scores are available in digital version, in the form of PDF files. The download links are available immediately after ordering and remain accessible from the order email or from your customer account on the site.
Generally, a score includes a file named “score” corresponding to the full score and a file named “parts” including all the separated parts. It is then up to you to print them. Avoid double-sided printing: the layout favors the possibility of sliding the next page onto the previous one during silences.
The digital version does not include the cover pages appearing in the store and in the paper version.
And if I opt for the paper version, what happens?
By choosing the paper version, after confirmation of the order, you will receive the scores by tracked letter to the delivery address indicated. Sheet music includes the full score (if applicable) and all parts, one copy per voice by default.
For ensemble scores, if you need additional copies, you can specify this in the order note.
The scores are in an A4 format booklet (A3 folded in half), with central staple binding. The paper is white and weighs 100g/m², the driver cover is thicker, at 160g/m². The layout of the parts is designed to facilitate page turns.
Can I share downloaded scores or files?
Music is about sharing, the works are played by several people so you can of course share your scores with the members of your group, your ensemble. However, photocopies of paper versions remain prohibited.
The use of digital versions must remain within a restricted setting: it is prohibited to distribute downloaded sheet music links or files on the internet. The scores on this site are the intellectual property of Yoann Couix and are protected against unfair distribution or sharing.
What if I want to play the works in concert?
That’s very good news ! Do not hesitate to let me know through social networks in order to relay the information.
Please ensure that the concert organizer makes a declaration to SACEM, where all my work is submitted. SACEM is responsible for redistributing some subsidies to composers-arrangers.
I found an error in a score, can I report it?
Great rigor is brought to the creation of the arrangements and scores. However, if you notice an error, whatever it may be, please report it by writing an email to contact@yoanncouix.fr.
Your valuable collaboration could be rewarded!
I like a work on the site but the instrumentation does not correspond to what I have available, is it possible to request an adaptation?
You can make a specific request by email to contact@yoanncouix.fr. The request will be studied and if it is feasible, a quote will be sent to you. A simple change of instrumentation that does not require significant transcription work can be carried out at no additional cost.
Payment, delivery and return…
Are my bank details secure when I place an order?
Of course ! I use the “Stripe” platform to allow secure payment. It is a reliable platform used by thousands of businesses.
What is the delivery time for the paper version?
In addition to the time linked to the preparation and shipping of the order (allow 1 to 3 days on average, more during school holidays), we must add the delivery times provided by La Poste (2 to 3 working days in Metropolitan France, 4 to 5 days in the EU, more than 7 days outside the EU).
I received my damaged scores, can I return them?
Delivery services are not always kind, if your order arrives damaged:
Contact me by email : contact@yoanncouix.fr
– Indicate your order number, first and last name.
– Attach a photo of the damaged score.
You will receive (after study) a return label.
Upon receipt of the return at the premises, you will have the choice:
